Thank you Ngozi.
Look around you, everything you can see has a price. In fact, the wealthy among us understand this well; you can have anything you want if you know the price and can pay it.
Look around you, everything you can see has a price. In fact, the wealthy among us understand this well; you can have anything you want if you know the price and can pay it. Of course, this will include everything outside life. But the point is that if you want it, you’ll need to pay the price to have it.
This principle easily applies to the desire to have more out of your career; it comes at a price. Could be more time studying to develop an in-demand skill; more time spent networking with industry leaders and peers; more time mastering your job and that of your next level, etc. But to get more, you’ll pay more.
It is easy to see this as a call to work harder, but it’s not. It’s actually a call to work more smartly and strategically, and knowing what price is too pricey for your job. I wish you more. Cheers.
