If the graph of workplace motivation is drawn, one will see the multiple undulation that characterize our lives. Sometimes you’re up, sometimes you’re down. But there are those days that you’re simply at the bottom of the barrel.
Your employer may have established mechanisms to help you stay motivated and inspired. But the responsibility to stay motivated is solely yours. Speak to yourself if you must. Encourage yourself if you have to. Trust yourself more.
Don’t let your downtimes be more than your uptimes. Don’t let your workplace challenges define your overall experience. Don’t make career decisions when you are at your peak or at your base, they’re not your best. But whatever you do, friend, try, stay inspired. Cheers.
