Thank you Ngozi.
In your journey to be a great leader, friend, you must be decisive. Decisions must be made, and some are thoroughly inconvenient, and roundly ambitious.
This was the case in the Arabian Peninsula when the vision to transform the desert city of Dubai into a modern luxury destination was conceived by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The vision was huge and unbelievable, it could only have been a decisive leader who will make it happen.
In a popular documentary on the construction of the Burj Al Arab, the most luxurious hotel in the world, between 1994 to 1999, the Architect, Tom Wright, noted that the project brief was essentially “design and construct an iconic building that has never been made, and will never be made”. And when they come up with the idea of a sailing yacht ⛵, it was clear they had an iconic design.
Every great dream requires decisiveness. Every great leader understands this. Dear friend, you, too, must become more decisive.
Cheers.
