DEALING WITH IMPOSTER SYNDROME

A few years ago, I had a scheduled session with my mentor to discuss a feeling I had, I later learnt that it is called imposter syndrome. At the time, I told him that I was struggling with self-confidence in my new role; it felt like I was not qualified to be promoted in the manner I was; as if people will “find me out” soon. In my June 20th 2023 article, WHY JUMPERS SEEM TO WIN, one of my readers, Dubem Orji, shared a beautiful comment. The closing line of the comment reads: “…My take is this, you can either be a missionary or a mercenary.
