When it comes to #appraisal, performance assessment and #promotion, when should an employee be worried? Many will say when appraisals are poor repeatedly, or when promotion is denied more than once. Well, my take is, when you can’t meet your key performance measurements again and again.
See, if you know how you are appraised, but you can’t meet the requirements, then you should be worried; you should ask deeper questions about your skill quotient, your core competency, and so on.
Appraisals, in my opinion, should always be viewed as a feedback. It only gets worrisome if the feedback stays the same after some time, and you can do anything about it. Cheers.
