Thank you Ngozi.
Years ago, as a much younger man, I watched my grand mother squashing palm kernels as she makes palm oil. In her local grinding pit, the process required foot after foot, pressing, squeezing, getting the husk off the kernel. It is not an easy sight.
The process is always physical, energetic and drudgery. But the oil, that flowing crimson of beauty, makes everything worth it. You can’t hate that menial and often tedious process and still love the oil. No.
In the same way, friends, don’t hate the process of becoming… It can be sweaty, dirty hands, late nights. Staying through is how you get the juicy oil at the end. Therefore, learning and training to endure through is how you win. Cheers.
