Thank you Ngozi.
If you’re familiar with business in the digital design space, you’ll know that part of terms of a contract is stating clearly a design need and expectation. It is your duty as a customer to describe what you want as clearly as possible, and the designer’s job to create a specific number of samples for your review.
Similarly, working in any firm, there are expectations; written or unwritten. They come from the firm, line managers or colleagues, and are often necessary considerations for growth. The key is to know how to manage all the lines of expectations.
Friend, knowing exactly what is expected of you is the first step to delivering great results. Often, being able to know those expectations that are not mentioned or documented could be the difference between being recognized or not. What are your job’s expectations? Cheers.
