Thank you Ngozi.
In 2008, as a first-year student of Zoology in UNN, I attended the 40th Inaugural Lecture of the University. It was delivered by Prof. Charles Soludo, who, at the time, was the Central Bank Governor.
His presentation was surreal, and I drank every word coming out of his mouth on that topic, FINANCIAL GLOBALIZATION AND DOMESTIC MONETARY POLICY. For the first time, I knew I wanted to be a Banker. But that desire will require the courage to drop out of Zoology and go for Economics (Soludo’s discipline). I didn’t have it.
I was able to seize another opportunity to become a Banker later. But it didn’t come without a dose of courage.
Friend, any goal that doesn’t test your courage may not be worth chasing. It should be big enough to scare you, but strong enough to draw your chase.
It will take courage, friend, to be everything you can be. Be courageous!
